Three times better? Maybe, but the all-new Speedmachine 3 120 Ski Boots are different in at least 3 key areas. The new shell still uses 3Force technology, but the supporting exostructure is now molded in a honeycomb pattern for lightweight strength. The new liners sport new asymmetrical EVA support around the back of the maleoli, and the cork is now black (must have been quite a trick to get the trees to change over from the traditional tan). The Speedmachine 3 boots also incorporate a flex adjuster mechanism that lets you choose from 3 potential stiffness ratings. Bundle all that up with the unchanged strong suits of the Speedmachine - great progressive flex and snow feel and great out-of-the-box fit - and you get a sense that this boot is going to change your skiing for the better.
